Loft Conversions Success Story 3 - Dawn Smith

Loft Conversion of the Month - Dawn Smith Dawn Smith and her family undertook a smaller, but nevertheless beautifully finished Loft Conversion consisting of a large double bedroom and a bathroom.

The house is in Chadwell Heath, and Dawn is sure that by adding the extra space to the top of the house she will more than make back the money she invested

Dawn has teenage daughters of 15 and 18, and with them growing up fast had decided with her husband that more space was required! As with our other featured customers, she also notes how it has also resolved the problem of sharing a bathroom in the mornings! The space and light that the roof windows have added makes the investment more than worthwhile even if it had not added value.

Dawns husband also suffers from asthma, and being able to open the large Colt Roto 11/11 roof window above the bed has been a revelation as the fresh air has really helped!. The views are also fairly spectacular and according to Dawn its ‘amazing that all this can be achieved from a totally unused space!’

Dawn did seek advice from her estate agents before proceeding with the work, but had thought about the project for years. It was all done and dusted inside 6 months, the work took just 4-5 weeks with very little disruption, and all this was done for around the £20,000 mark.

Dawn and her family would have been busy recommending loft conversions to people ever since!
